Project Facts:

  • This project was started concurrently with the RIYADH METRO project, the client had a very limited time frame to complete this project (6 months) which was considered relatively a short period to complete the awarded scope of work.
  • The client had requested at least two Microtunnelling subcontractors to execute this project because of the above reason and since the crossing is located in different areas with required inter-area movement and permits.

Critical Success Factors:

  • Provided a suitable team of well-experienced staff.
  • Working nonstop 24hours/7 days.
  • Supply and provide more than setup equipment to work a head in more than one location.
